Know-nothing

HighStrungLoner: The fireworks were great. I went two hours early to see Rufus Wainwright and he only did two songs.
Mr_X: more then enough,.his tempo wasnt for that type crowd
HighStrungLoner: I was hoping he’d use the orchestra.
Mr_X: he's good,..I like him butthe crowd wanted upbeat music
HighStrungLoner: They did?
Mr_X: yes they did
HighStrungLoner: I left after Rufus and went behind the museum with my iPod to wait for the fireworks and to make sure I missed Patti Labelle.
Mr_X: Patti Labelle,.someone should of told her to move the mic when she moved
HighStrungLoner: They should move the mic as far away from her mouth as they can.,
Mr_X: o so ur not a fan
HighStrungLoner: I can’t stand that screeching harpy.
Mr_X: then I notice the ouput volume was low on everyone ,an after ELTON sang one song soemone finally turn up the volume
HighStrungLoner: I had no problem hearing.
HighStrungLoner: I saw Elton John at his first ever US show at the old Electric Factory
Xton: Now that’s historical, Frank.
Mr_X: 22nd st Very cool. off arch
HighStrungLoner: I still have the drumstick I stole as a souvenir.
Mr_X: good memories
HighStrungLoner: He was great. Two weeks later he had a hit single.
Xton: You were Courteney Cox.
HighStrungLoner: I was.
Xton: “Your Song” was his first, right?
HighStrungLoner: Yep.
Mr_X: yellow brick
HighStrungLoner: Years before Yellow Brick Road, that was like his fifth album or something
Mr_X: right
HighStrungLoner: This was 1970
Mr_X: thats when Tom(something) use to write his music
Xton: Bernie Taupin?
Mr_X: thats him
HighStrungLoner: Bernie Taupin. He wrote the lyrics. Elton writes the music.
Mr_X: he & Elton where lovers and that when BERNie use to write most if not all Elton songs,.then they had a bog fall ou
HighStrungLoner: Bernie’s wife, the one he wrote Tiny Dancer about, might disagree.
