Customer service

It looks like Comcast customer support was a little busy last night when THE SCREEN FROZE DURING GAME THREE OF THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!! They weren’t even taking phone calls! People were furious!
I’m listening to “Redukt” from Silence Is Sexy by Einstürzende Neubauten.

We sincerely apologize for the interruption.
Many of us were watching the Phillies game. Unfortunately, a little before midnight we detected the equipment failure that resulted in disruption to most standard definition broadcast channels, including FOX. The issue was detected immediately by our internal monitoring tools and we did our best to remedy the problem immediately.
We hope that we will never experience this problem again. Especially, during the World Series!

Awww. Comcast does suck, sometimes.
Their "internal monitoring tools" consist of a guy named Ed, watching on a old monitor while drinking Schlitz beer in the employee lounge.
